Udukuri Table

I made those pieces using a Japanese technique called Udukuri, which focuses on highlighting the intrinsic shapes of wood. This technique consists in lowering the level of the wood to highlight the contours and shapes that generates the grain itself. Painting the surface with different glazes and sanding it right after, produces infinite color variations.
